Yep. Works like a charm. Drywall screw works well because of the sharp thin point. Make sure you thread it in enough that it's not just going to strip out. What you're going to be doing here is pulling the drive shaft bushing out with the broken pin in it. You should replace the bushing that the same time as you replace the pin. It's only a couple of bucks.Some have used a small sheet metal or wood screw to screw in and pull it out with.
