Sounds like you are in need of some serious help. Go on ebay and buy manual for one. Some things to check right off..

Grease fittings on front suspension, and rear skid componants

Chaincase oil (drain and replace)

Powervalves clean?

Servo and cables adjusted properly?

Carbs (if carberated) clean?

Belt deflection?

clutches aligned?

Skis aligned?

Sounds like a lot but its really not, most are simple items to check.

You have no idea how much you have to learn. I've been wrenching on my sleds since I was 14 Im 28. Still learn a lot from these guys.

track tension, bearings in the skid, wheel condition, ski runner condition, Hyfax, chain tension, throttle cable adjustment, throw a wrench on every bolt you can see, Oil level, coolant level, cooling hoses, clutch condition (cracks, wore out bushings). Along with everything else that is listed, these all need to be checked before you go for a ride.
