List what sled you have and what you pay. What company do you deal with?
I have Liberty Mutual and last year paid $226 for a 2015 ZR 8000 el tigre'
This year they raised it to $413--- no claims at all. I have car and home insured with them as well, still no claims. Shopping for sled insurance. So far nobody is under $400 per year. progressive $500--nationwide-$460 esurance-$410 thanks

SledInsure is the place I will be going through. Pretty fast turnaround time for a quote. I have my sled and an older 2 spot trailer. Here's what they gave me (BTW I have a clean driving record w/ no recent claims history):

$100,000 Bodily Injury Liability each person.
’ $300,000 Bodily Injury Liability each accident.
’ $ 50,000 Property Damage Liability each accident.
’ SM # 1: 2013 Arctic Cat F800 SnoPro LTD – Comprehensive & Collision Coverage.
’ TLR#2: Triton trailer - $1,000 – Comprehensive & Collision Coverage.
’ $500 deductible on the snowmobile, $100 deductible on the trailer.
’ Includes disappearing deductibles on the snowmobile!
’ $3,000 Accessory coverage included on the snowmobile.
’ 12 Month Premium, with paid in full discount - $348.00

I decided on slednsure which was $318 per sled, not horrible.
After I signed up, they sent me documents and it was Progressive insurance. Progressive quoted me $945 a year. Insurance is a scam at times, I dont get it. For atv's progressive was very reasonable in fact down right cheap. $175 a year for 2 quads full coverage.

So when I bought my sled back in March, I actually had to shop around for insurance for about 2 weeks before actually purchasing my sled because I kept getting ridiculous quotes. Finally I got a hold of a local State Farm agent and I paid $256.84 for the year (This is for a 2015 ZR4000RR and I'm 28 years old with a clean driving record).

When I told her what other companies were quoting me, she was in shock. I was receiving quotes anywhere from $500-$600 for the year.

I have my auto insurance through Geico for both vehicles, so I assumed I would get a good quote from them but nope... they were one of the highest.

just got my bill. 250 for the year with the same liability rates the car lease companies require you to carry on a car. I upped the liability 2 years ago as people are so law suite happy now days. 20148000RR full coverage through state farm.

i was quoted $200 just for liability. full coverage was something like $600 which i will not be paying. debating getting the liability, don't have any trail pass(yet) and it's looking like i'll most likely just stick to my own property for this year so i don't really need it

Guess I'll be calling my state farm agent back. Just put the Z1 turbo on and it's 330/year, full coverage. I didn't think that was bad til I saw these other st farm rates. I've had everything with them for about 20 years now.

My 4 place inline trailer is like $39/year.

also with state farm you can drop down to liability for 6 months depending on your home owners ins coverage and where you store it. some times I keep the at the farm and sometimes at my house so I just left it full coverage, think it would of saved me $150 across all sleds.
