is this possible? is there anything in particular i would have to do? would i need to buy the aarms too, or will the shocks mount up on there own?

If they're going from a ZR SnoPro into a reg. Zr you should be fine providing you've got the save version AWS.
If you're talking of shocks from a Firecat type SnoPro then no, they're too long. But can be modified with shorter shafts to make them work.

how do i know if i have the aws?

aws is the front suspension. your is aws version 5. when mounting the res. shock they go upside down from conventional shocks. there is a indent for the res. bottle that you strap there.
