My friend owns a '98 EXT EFI 580. It won't start anymore. Here's what he told me about it. If anyone has any ideas or help that would be great! (sorry for the bad grammar and spelling..)
Well when I warmed it up it sounded fine. Then dad shut it off to fill it up with gas. Then when I started it up again, it wouldn't move. It would rev really high and sounded normal but it wouldn't go. I Tried putting it in and out of reverse but i couldn't get it to move more then a few feet. Then I shut if off and tried to restart it. It wouldn't turn on but it was close to turning over, and it smelled like gas. So we changed the plugs and it still wont start up.
I think overall he thinks it's getting flooded somehow. But that seemed pretty weird since it's EFI. I thought it could be injectors gone bad. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.
