Hi All,

I'm about to replace the springs on my 99 ZR 440 Sno-Pro this weekend. I was going to upgrade the skid fasteners to grade 8 (6 marks on the head of the bolt) hardware. Stock is grade 5 (3 marks on the head of the bolt). Are the grade 8 fasteners okay/superior/inferior for use in this application? Since one of the grade 5 fasteners broke on me, I was hoping the grade 8 fasteners would make the sled "just that much more bullet-proof"... any takers on this train of thought?

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the advice; Grade 8 bolts they be! I get the feeling that if I manage to trash the skid, it would be more of something to be proud of rather than be upset over.
