Ok guys being a new snowmobile owner im trying to do tje maint
Myself i have three sleds for sons so cant afford to take to dealer for everthing
Im getting ready to do bearings on the drive shaft. Dont the sides of the sled fold down to allow access to the bearings and chain case . Do i habe to take a bunch of bolts out?

no they don't fold down they have a bunch of torx screws in them you don't need to remove them to get at the chaincase and bearings,you will have to remove the track and skid to to do both bearings its not to bad of a job four bolts in the tunnel to remove the skid,3 bolts on the left side bearing,and all the chaincase cover bolts ,chain and sprocket 3 more bolts for right side bearing remove jackshaft drop skid its about a 2 hour job,hope this helps.
