Hey guys, i need some help? 05 F7 Sno Pro, around 6500 mi. I replaced my stock Cat belt with an Ultimax XS812 and in about 50 mi it was completely shredded. I've read a post that said that i should have re shimmed the secondary because the ultimax belt is wider?? Is this correct? Any thoughts would help. Thanks! Ride Hahd!!

did the sled try and drive away when you stop if so then yes your belt was riding to high in the secondary but even at that 50 miles the belt isnt even brock in .

Only time I've seen that happen is when the clutches are seriously out of alignment.

check the little bolts on back of your secondary..it might be fallin apart..common problem on them:angry:

Break in time about 50 miles. At least I would get the belt hot from a little riding not much open throttle, then let it cool off. Repeat twice. Have you put lower gears in it?
