Hi guys, I have an 05 king cat 900 efi 162”. I would like to shorten to a 144”. I only ride in Minnesota and that’s plenty long for here. Any ideas? Know of anyone who’s done this? Any ideas would be appreciated thanks

yup sell it and find a shorter sled. too many parts to change, skid, track, drivers, tunnel, your already over the price of a sled, plus you have to take the entire thing apart. Sell it and get something shorter.

Yeah that’s what I thought I would hear. I can’t sell it, it’s too fun to ride and not really worth much. I guess I’ll keep it for river running thanks

Yeah there is that, but I can’t give up yet, if I could shorten it without changing tunnel it would be worth sweeping around for awhile. I already have the track and a new driveshaft isn’t a problem, I haven’t looked closely at the heat exchangers but it has a factory tunnel extension that could be easily done away with.
