Hello Folks! I am posting this for my Hubby who has a 2007 Bear Cat 660 Turbo. After 2 seasons of dragging trails with this wonderful work horse, we were retrofitting a new hitch for the new drag and noticed the inside of the track was getting chewed up. Hmmmm? The shock in the rear of the sled was upside down. We have never had the suspension apart.

So here is the problem, was this a factory ooops? Or does the design let the shock flip 180 degrees on occasion? We have had both answers given to us, and our local dealer is pleading the fifth. LOL

Anyone else have this issue? Any questions ask away.

Thanks for the help!

There is a cross shaft in the skid frame which keeps the lower shock mont from flipping over center. Vibration can loosen the bolts and it can fall out. Check to see if it is still there. It is probably gone.
