hey guys,
I have an Alterra 500 ATV, 2019, 120 motor hours and 1900 KM.

I want to take care of him by myself, all the maintenance .

I would like if you can help me understand what are the things that I should do to keep him in good shape.
I would like to get list of things that I should do and time table ( how often to do them )

Do you think that it can be done or I most go to the garage from time to time?

thank you!

I do most of the work on my machines myself. You can go to countrycat website and download the service manual for free.

Countrycat is a good place to order parts as well.

There should be a maintenance schedule in your owners manual too. If you don't have one, you can download one from Country Cat also.

TY both,
This is the maintenance table of my atv.
Can you help me find videos or guids that explain how to actully do those things?
I found how to clen air filter and how to replace oil and oil filter.

How to chack bolts? which ones are more importent?
How to see braek fluid in this thing?
Chassis bolts and nuts - which ones? i need jack or it is possible to tighten without lift the ATV ?

TY !

You might want to buy some ramps to drive it up on, make easier to crawl under. Alternatively, a car jack and jackstands. Harbor Frieight has cheap torque wrenches and half way decent wrenches, sockets.

Hay guys,
I saw that some people replace differential oil in atvs but I didn't saw it in the maintenance manual of my alterra 500 atv.

Lately I started hearing weird noises (rattelings, like bird noise ) from my front axis and I wondering if it's related.

What do you think?

I work on my atv by myself and every 3 months change oil, oil filter and clean air filter.
I also chack colling liquid levels and the strength of the bolts.

It’s right after air filter housing in your table. Gear Lubricant (front differential, Rear drive. I do mine every 2 years but I don’t do mud or bog runs.
