I have had trouble with my secondary clutch binding as soon as the strain comes on my 2010 Bearcat 570xt especially when I stop suddenly. It is like the belt stays down in the drive and i am in high gear, and the belt squeals as a result. Only lasts for a few seconds but it is irritating and i dont want to damage the belt. This has happened four times in the last month but has never happened before and I am on my third winter with over 4000 miles of use, and no hauling heavy loads.
I have had this machine in some serious snow in the past with no issues. Dealer tells me the secondary clutch probably needs to be cleaned, but that it is a little low on mileage to have this done. Normally this service is needed by 6000 miles. Any ideas if this is the cause or could it be a bearing or something else?
