Did a quick search and didn't get too many results of seat risers only Handle bars.
So, my question is,
"Has anyone added a riser to their seats and/or added extra foam?"
How does it look and work?
Looking to make the ergo's more like the X-fire/Rev.
I added the 136" kit this year and love it.
Might as well do some more customizing while I'm in the mood.
As in another post, with the price of the new ones, maybe we can keep our older ones a little longer and still gain some benefits of the newer techs.
Any thoughts and pics would be appreciated.

Thx

hey, I had the same idea last summer so here's what to do. Buy a piece of 2" rigid foam insulation,

Take the seat and tank off, remove all staples from vinyl seat cover and remove it and foam seat.

cut out 2" insulation to fit on top of tank and around trunk hole.

then take to a reapolstery shop to add extra vinyl around bottom and back where light hole is. I also had them

add an extra piece to fill in towards the tank like the newer sleds and shaved the sides down leading up to the tank.

It's amazing and ergos are 50x better. I also added a powermadd 6" riser block. mine's a '05 ZR 900. I'll try and post some pics later

Thanks Guys!
Some more tricks to consider.
Did find a riser on HCS.
Maybe put all these together.
BTW k9, The link did not show any pics. Was that an older link that may be gone now?

Thanks again!
