Tore apart the 94 ZR 700 today. Ran it through the recommended slate of diagnostics (carbs clean, TSS fine, primary just replaced, carb boots brand new) Narrowed it down to a problem with the driven clutch. It won't come off. I dont want to beat in it because when I got that far I realized that there is serious metal fatigue on the tunnel where the motor mount attaches. Looks like the mount is fine, but below the mount is opening like a PBR can. Any tips from anyone who may have experienced this before? It appear that the clutch is torquing and pinching the belt from not being in line. A trick for a plate that I could tack weld or bolt on.

Goes like a champ after you pop the wedged belt, set it down off of the stand and it won't move. Part it out?

Thanks for any advice.

On customers sleds I weld a 16 gauge piece of sheet metal in place. Sometimes thicker. I try to match the factory or go thicker. Just steel so super easy.
