I bought a 2016 Arctic cat ZR 800 limited when I went to go change the chain case oil there was no tensioner in it, is it safe to ride like that or should I put one in?

No there was, or else I wanna see a picture of this. No way it will run without a tensioner without taking the chaincase casting out
