Hey Everyone

I blew my voltage regulator last winter ('04 F7 EFI EXT), and with that blown i had no speedo or tach. I switched out the VR and I now have no tach. Is it possible that when the voltage regulator went, it took the tach sensor with it? or is it possible that there is a wire in there somewhere that came unplugged? Does anyone know where or what is involved in changing the RPM sensor?

Feedback would be great.

Sounds like the high voltage damaged the speedometer / tachometer or cdi/ ecu. The quickest way to test it is to swap with a "known good part".
