My kitty took a little spill this weekend and didn't land on its' paws. I am trying to take the front plastic off.

I have all the screws and bolts off but how do you fit it over the handlebars?

Don't tell me I have to take them off............

:beer_cheers: Loners about the only way I found was to take the glove box out and w/o taking the bars off you have to spin the plastics sideways and lift over the bars they will go thru the hole where the glove box was.Mke sure you unplug you head lites.

Over the pod, just take your time and be careful. I have taken mine off three or four times and have scratched a few places (mostly the decals) on the pod. I guess they just match the rest of the scratches on my machine. Good luck.

I am with frontiercat,
take the headlights off the plastic and remove the rack and all the misc plastic
then just twist your fender plastic til its sideways compared to your handlebars
and "work" it free.
I haven't got any scratches that dont blend in with the rest of my scratches and I have taken mine off 3-4 times as well. Cat happy
