i just picked up a 98 zr 600 and am getting all the shocks out to get them recharged. i got the front ones out. but now am unsure how to take the front rear one out. do i have to somehow release the pressure from the torsion springs or can i just unbolt it and take it out.

i used a long screw driver to punch that long bolt out. if you you cut the spring holder thing like shown in the picture. you can skip taking the bolt out. it makes it alot easier to remove the shocks.picture
