Ok so I'm gonna change the rear brake pads on my 07 DVX400 but when I put the new bads in caliper I can't get the piston to go back in far enough to put on the rotor.????

Not many people own a dvx. Have you used a c-clamp on them?

Yes but the piston won't go all the way in... Do I need to release the pressure...??

Just remove the cap on the master cylinder.
