Trying to snorkel the exhaust belt tonight in a TRV.

Ive read all the threads about snorkelling so please don't tell me to search it.

My issue is there is NO room to put a 2 inch ABS pipe to get the snorkel over the belt housing. I could possibly use a soft pipe to squish through the tight opening, but it would be squished against the belt housing. So I'm guesing it will get way too much heat and melt.

Could I use 1 inch ABS to snorkell the exhaust? Would this be too small?

TRV's are no fun to snorkell.. If your thinking of buying one, know this. The power steering made it really difficult to snorkel the intake and belt intake. Now, the frame design is making it impossible to do the belt exahust.

ABS is brittle and will break easier than PVC...

I don't know if the TRV's are different than regular chassis, but I was able to do it on my 2012 GT 700. It was a very very tight fit but it did make it. I have since switched to a top port but I was going to switch it to a Mud Pro 1000 boot to then go up to the rest of the MP snorkel setup.
