Handle bars that arent pointed straight are corrected with the straight edge/string method. Heres how: By just running a tape measure from ski to ski you see a difference of 5/8th of an inch ( just an example ) toed out and instead of adjusting the ski that is toed out, you adjust the opposite ski to match the other ski. You corrected the toe but now your handle bars are pointed noticeably left or right. With a string/straight edge you can tell which ski if not both need to be adjusted. Most times each ski needs a little adjustment. You get both ski's parallel to the straight edge/string, then measure between the 2 ski's for the final 1/8th -1/4 toe out.
Results is straight handle bars and toe.

I will use the the string next time, seems much easier than pulling a sled onto a trailer.. Once its on a trailer though, its just as easy.

Other thing is you can't do it on trailer if you have ski guides. Skis move very easy on a concrete floor.
