On a cold morning they start like my old T-Cat. When warm I almost think it starts easier than my F-7 did. Definitely easier than my ZR800.

When it is really cold you have to pull a little at a time to get things moving then start it. If you try to yank on it right out of the gate, you tend to end up on your but.

But when I mean cold, I mean 15 below. Otherwise it is what you would expect from a 1000.

a group of us went ice fishing this past feb. The weather turned cold for the 4 days we were there. Average temp each morning was in the -25c to -30c range. I have to admitt i was a little nervous that first morning, but it never took more than 3 pulls to start it.
