Damn my 09 has oil residue all over the inside of the belly pan... Wis. sand mixed with it and just for good measure some road salt dust that snuck in on the road home...
ENOUGH !
Dirt bikes power wash them
Start them to dry off then hit em with WD40 etc.

A 09 Cat F8 EFI omg
That's all I need is to spray water etc. Into all that wiring Harness ( potential problematic wiring harness as we all know)
How do you guys clean up your sleds motor ?

Thanks!

I use Purple Power and a soft bristle brush with soapy water in a bucket. Spray the Purple Power on for about 5 minutes (keep it "wet") and then wash the whole sled and just rinse with a regular hose. With this method no pressure washer needed. (although i have done it a little at the car spray wash if i am washing the car and trailer off on the way home)
This method is especially good if you have one of those Yellow or Green sleds with the plastic that stains easily from the exhaust. No wire brushes needed just spray the stuff on and wait and then wash it and rinse. Works well.
