I just purchased the powderlite muffler from you, does this require a boondocker box ? also is there any performance gains from this besides the weight loss.

Thanks,

Sean

No EFI controller required with any mufflers! They do not gain over stock, but they do not lose horsepower like so many others do. Simply a great weight savings and make it sound like there is something under the hood.

powderlite on 2011 crossfire 800

Hello mike, I have been getting the octane code alot on my sled, about 4 times in the last 300 miles, could this muffler be the cause of this ? have you had any issues ?

Thanks sean

No muffler should not be causing the octane light. They have the same airflow as stock so nothing should change except your sled being lighter! I would look at fuel quality, we see such poor fuel now days it is crazy.
