Been helping my friend with his Polaris Ranger 6x6. Put a plow on and studded his tires. Gawd! I hate Polaris even more than when I owned one. What in hell is wrong with folks that buy Polaris? I can't believe these aren't made in France. I thought this would plow snow like crazy! Feels like driving a pregnant walrus. My Arctic Cat Diesel is about 100 times more machine. I may be biased.:devil

It's the 500, It does plow nice. I put grip studs in his tires. 1 problem, the snow plow mount has very low clearance. Think it's going to be problematic. My friend is a "Maine Guide" and he uses it to take clients into the woods and carry hunting dogs and bear, coyote and bobcat bait. Yesterday I drove it up into the woods with the plow on at angle, was very awkward! Also every tree we passed dumped snow onto my lap thru the windshield, making my mood less than great. haha. After having my mechanic friend completely re-do the carburetor, it still starts hard, stalls easily, and when I gave it full throttle in Hi Range, it sputtered and nearly died. Did not inspire me to take it miles into the woods alone.

Sounds like it still has carb problems or water in the gas or grud. I wonder why Cat never got into the 6x6's. A prowler 700 6x6 would have been a beast of a work machine.

I think the 500 Fuji motors that PoPo used were pretty solid, never owned one personally.

The mid plow mounts are not good, when your not plowing. The front UTV mounts are much better. Allow for much higher lift, easier to remove/ hook up.
