this summer i plan od doing some work on my 98 zr500. i want to upgrade the exaust,cluch carbs,gearing and thinking aboutextending the track and tunel.

does any one have any recomendations or thaughts.

Well, What do you look to get more top end? If you look for top end the extension is going to nock of a few MPH's off, but everything else Vforce3 reeds, Speedwerx pipe, ODS Clutch, And some Carbs, Would give a pretty Bad A$$ ZR 500! :catwins :super_happy:

thanks for the recomendations ill check them out . My budy says i should just put on a track with biger lugs rather than extending.what do you think .and what size could i go with without catching the top of the tunel

1.5 i think is the max, i have a hacksaw and love it

and i also dont think that speedworks has a 98 zr pipe

yup 1.5 i think. I did a 2" but went to 8 tooth drivers and had to notch the track for the coolers :beer_cheers:
