Good afternoon everyone. So I have a late 90's pantera 580 efi, key start, with the passenger seat. This sled is a lot of fun, it has awesome throttle response and the efi runs smoothly. It has nice torque and is somewhat fast for its engine class. Does anyone have some insight as to what could be done to make this a better "off the trail" sled? The suspension is terrible, and the current studded track is everything but aggressive in this deep snow we have. The sled was free, so I really can't complain, but your thoughts and opinions are appreciated.

What specific problem are you having with the suspension? What model year Pantera?
Later Panteras use the 1 inch track paddle, my '99 uses the 7/8". I think I will try the 1 inch track when I need a new one.
Remember, studs on track don't do anything in deep snow, only hardpacked snow and ice. They do a good job of taking out the front heat exchanger, though.
