the rear suspension is real stiff on my tcat MC, it doesn't even move when i sit on it. it's greased up and everything, that's not the problem.

the guy i bought it from said there were these overload springs installed. they are like leaf springs to add more support. I'm wanting to take these off, but it looks like i'll need some kind of spacer or something in their place. does anyone know what's involved to remove these?

Those are standard equipment on two up touring sleds. When you have a heavy passenger you engage the springs, when riding one up you just drop the plastic arm (#23 below) that it pushing on the springs. The springs sit on a rubber bumper #26 below. I would just drop them and leave them, handy when you have to double your buddy of the trail.
