Im lookin into gettin my wife a 02-new z 570 and was wondering how they are. shes been ridein a wildcat 700efi for the last three years and likes the power, mabey too much cuz she blew it up doin hole shots and racin me in the fields. but anyway we were talkin bout her next sled and she likes the 570, i jst question if it will hold up being a fanner, any thoughts would be great

that's what my wife rides. I believe it's geared lower than standard Z's which gives it great holeshot. Rides very nice. I did upgrade to better skis to make it steer better (used the stock skis off my firecat). Won't have any problems keeping up on the trails by any means.

She might be disappointed in power going from an F7 though.

thanks for the info, she likes the power in the holeshot and to run in the fields but she lets off bout half way then cruises round 50-60. she wimps out any faster then that . (she talks big ) any of you guys had any problems with temp. it some times gets a little warm 30-40 around here, also could you rejet it or mabey reeds to juice it up a little?

well I think the reliability had to do mostly with the way the oil pumps were set up at the factory - my wifes was set for 100:1 -- a bunch of others blew their motors right away and ours probably would have gone too if I hadn't of caught it.

i do agree it's not the greatest on gas mileage

we've ridden in temps at 45 degrees and there hasn't been any issues
