I got a '94 pantera and ran great untill out of the blue it only runs right when hood is up, its literally instantly when I close the hood it runs like crap.

X2 check the wiring harness for a chafed or broken wire, should only be 3 I believe but if they are broke and touching it could be shorting things out. also check your wiring in and around the console, when your closing the hood you could be irritating the wiring there as well. I personally would lean more to that than the hood wiring itself. Do you have a batt. down by the chain case?? check all that if you do.
