I have a 2015 xr 500, just wondering if anyone has got rid of their one way bearing for the wet clutch, and if it has caused any issues by deleting it.

Cat sent out a service bulletin telling the dealerships to remove and not replace them when they went bad.

I wouldn't replace if if it goes bad, I would delete it if you use the machine for plowing.
I haven't seen the issue on kymco powered machines yet

I am replacing my wet clutch, but on bottom end it has a rattle noise until about 1500 rpm, this is the only reason I want to get rid of the bearing.

May I ask what the benefits are of the delete? And how does one know that it's bad?
