i have made a few posts about the problems with my 650 v2 hard to start and when it starts it only runs for a few mins under power then stalls carbs were flooding over i took it to the shop and had them cleaned and jetted but i still have the problem have been givin some great info i just dont know where to start it was swamped out and carbs flooding over but before that problem it was really hard to start but them would run great arter it finally started ' i thought the rings may have been washed out but also read somthing about the valves being to tight would cause the starting problem what do i do ? bang your head

yeah, if the carbs are flooding it's not due to valve or a head problem. choke or float problem is you ask me.. and if you swamped it out makes me think junk somwhere in the carbs..

have you tried tapping on the carbs with a small hammer? and you say it's hard to get started (flooding possibly) once you get it started does it consume more fuel than normal?
