Whitch way do you turn the adjuster on the cable to reduce the oil consumption. THIS IS A CARBED 06 m7.[/b]
I know they made a carbed M7, but I have never seen one myself.
So in a round about way to answer you, try this.
While looking at it have someone squeeze the throttle.
As they open the throttle it will pull the oil pump open to.
So logically adjusting the cable to pull the pump open less, will reduce the oil it gets.

Be VERY CAREFUL NOT TO GO TO FAR !!!
Oil is cheap compared to blowing it up in the mountains.

I turned out my linkage one turn on the oil pump. I est 1 liter of oil per tank of gas. My original ratio was 35:1. I am going to sell my 2005 m7 and persue another M sled.

A liter per tank is pretty normal.
That gives you a 40:1 ratio....dead on IMO. :beer_cheers:
