I have a 97 ZRT 600 that i rebuilt this past fall. it ran fine up untill this last week. it don't want to run on all cylinders. it only runs on 2 and it changes what one don't fire. I have some a parts machine and i have changed out both coils and 2out of the 3 plug wires. and 2 new sets of plugs. i am going to check my plug gaps, wires and coil tomorrow. what should all those be at if they are good? and if that is not thew probelem what should i look for next?

replace the plug wires and the spark plug boots,new plugs should be gapped at .028-.032 tho. if none of that helps try swaping the stators

well i found the spark plugs had gone bad. how do spark new spark plugs go bad? I tried 9 different plugs, 6 new with in the last 2 weeks. Now it runs like a top.

I would jet it down to 350's for starters, and check your oil pump adjustment and make sure someone didnt adjust it wrong, a lot of guys think you need to adjust all the slop out of the cable and then its ends up way rich on oil.
