Hello all,

I have a primary clutch, it's a newer style 6 tower clutch. I want to run it on my wife's 01 Mountaincat 600. Does anyboday know what I should run for weights, and spring? It engages around 3900 rpm with a red spring, I think that's pretty good. It has 49.5 gram weights and it pulls about 8100 rpm. Can I run Comet weights in it? If so the setup for a comet clutch which appears to be almost identicle red spring / A25 weights.
Please let me know your thoughts

If you have a primary from a f-7 it will NOT fit onto your 600. The taper of the crankshaft is larger on the f-7. If you had one from an f-5 then you would be ok to just swap your stock weights and spring into it and go.

Yea, you got the wrong clutch, if you run it, good chance you'll wreck the crank. F6 and F7 use a 33 mm crank all others minus the zr900 and 02 on up 800 use a 30 mm crank.
