This is my first sled ("07"M) with the digital style speedo and tach and I'm trying to get my clutching dialed in. Just wondering how close are the tachs reading? I know the old one's could be up to 200 rpms off. Has anyone had one calibrated? Thanks

Thats a good question. I have always called them "dream meters". It would be nice to know if they have gotten any more accurate in the new sleds. My V-Max 4 does 140+ on the "dream meter"! LOL!!!!

I checked only one of my sleds, my 2005 M7.
Using an accurate mechanics tach to compare it against.
At 7000 rpm on the accurate tach, my stock M7 tach read about 7,080 rpm.
