I have a 1981 kawasaki 440 F/A. It runs pretty good cold, but when it warms up good it starts bogging out when I give it full throttle, or accelerate. Seems like it is starving for fuel or I think it is actually running too rich. I tried adjusting the carb, got it idling good but still losses performance. Any ideas?

Mike ,
look at the plugs after she she starts to give you trouble , if the plugs are wet and black your rich , if they are a very light brown to white your lean , and if they are the color of card board your in the ball park. Look at all the simple things first fuel lines and filters ( including the one in the tank ) if these check out you should give the carb a good cleaning . Sounds like you may be starving it of fuel somehow , this creates a lean condition so be careful.
