Keep looking.........you should be able to get a decent sled for $3000/under. An F-6 just went for $2850 on Ebay and for some odd reason an F-5 went for $3000. The deals are there - you gotta look and be patient.

I looked for 2 years (for the old lady) and ended up stealing a 1998 ZR 500 with 2100 miles on it for $875. Runs like a top!

the sp i am telling u about is such a strong sled, from 0 to 80 it damn near beats my f7.and the suspension is awsome.the socks wer also just rebuilt.
