Hello: I have a question hopefully one of you Rotary people can answer for me.I have a KM 914 ( Not a B ) 303 sachs Wankel that has a tendency to do strange things. One minute it will run fine and the next it will up and quit and when you pull it over to restart it there seems to be no compression.I say seems to be no compression because if you pull the plug out the rotor assembly sounds and feels like it is turning but the clutch, counter weight and clutch side of the mainshaft that sticks out past the engine are not turning. It also does this sometimes when you shut it off and go to restart it.Is there any way the mainshaft can split or turn like this?? I have had a witness to this and NO BEER at the time naughty .The next time you go to start it ( this could be 5 or 10 minutes later ) everything is perfect and it runs fine. The engine never goes out of time.It has done this 4 or 5 times now but hasn't done it in the past 3-4 weeks.I am very confused. bang your head Also can someone tewll me the difference between a 55mm and a 60 mm mainshaft.I would take it one is bigger but is it only the clutch end or is the whole shaft bigger and takes different bearings. Thanks for the space. Doug H
