Hi All,

Hoping someone will be able to help me out. I was doing the steering bracket reinforcement this weekend and when i took the bottom front panel off the bottom of my sled this screw was sitting on it.

Any ideas where this could be from (pictures attached)? Looks like an adjustment screw for something?

Thanks for the help!

Chances are it’s an A-arm Gusset screw (pn: 8413-617)

For the past decade and a half, Cat is famous for a few “excess” fasteners of various kinds finding their way into the depths of the bellypan during production (that they don’t chase down and remove), see it often on new sleds.

Found a 3/8 socket in the oil pan of a 327 from a ‘66 Impala, socket had a GM logo on it…whoops.
