I had always thought it was just the early batteryless efi cats with the stator problems. the 97 580, then the 98 and 99 500 and 600.

Now i see carbed models of the same yr have the same problems. Also the ZRT's too?

Does anyone know how many cat models, and up till what yr. have this problem?



edit: basically, i'm thinking about picking up an 01 or 02 ZR 800, and wanna know if they have the stator problem as well
