Missing clamps item # 2 & 4 on the propeller shaft boot. I just removed my front diff to check the welds on the spider retaining pin, & removed the U joint to replace it. The clamps weren't on when I started. Is it common to leave these off for replacing U-joints. Thought I might fill the boot with grease, or antiseize to give the propeller shaft a little lubricant where it flexes into the propeller shaft joint yoke.
I bought the quad used as a demo, with only about 300 miles, so I don't think the front U joint would have been replaced by previous owner.
