34mm what? Flatslide? VM designates roundslide. Are you asking about another roundslide or what? What sled is it going on?
MIKUNI VM34 AND MIKUNI 34MM
WHAT I AM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF I CAN USE A MIKUNI 34MM IN PLACE OF MY MIKUNI VM 34MM. I KNOW THE VM HAS A THROTAL STOP SCREW ON IT, DONT KNOW IF THAT MAKES A BIG DEAL OR NOT. THANKS

YES ITS ANOTHER ROUND SLIDE FROM MIKUNI. ITS GOING ON A PANTERA 500CC WITH A SINGLE CARB.
Ok, then I'm guessing it's an older model and has a long bell 34 on it. Some 34's have short bell. You'll just need one thats the same. The dimensions are the same on all 34 VM with that one exception of bell length. Some are short, some are long. There might be other differences, like which side of the throat the slide locating dowel is on but that really shouldn't matter as long as you have the slide to match.
I'm not really sure what you mean by a throttle stop screw either. Thats typically the idle adjustment as far as I know and they all have that.
