I was just wondering if anyone has takin there m1000 to the mountains yet and see how they compair to other machines[/b]
How do you like yours in the flatlands?? I've only got about 500 miles on mine, but so far...so good. The only complaint I have is the stiff rear suspension. It's great on gas and tons of torque. Is yours stock?? Any new snow around Nipawin lately??

Seriously? There's gotta be 100 different threads comparing the M1000 to everything from a cutler 1200 to a 95 550 rmk fan!

Just back from revy last night. Machine has lots of power, climbs like a mountain goat and handles lika grizzly at low speed!!! It turns great under power or while climbing the steep and deep. At slow speed in the trees or even going downhill it can be a bear, hope it is just setup...

All I have to say is bring it on! I love mine, It has not all been a bed of roses though I have spent many hours on set up and have had to do some changes to get it to run well in the deep snow but at this point I would have a hard time going to anything else.
I rode with a M7 LE with a cutler 900 in it along with twin pipes this last saturday and after ridding them back to back the power was not even close. So my 2c's are I'm glad I purchased the m1k and did not kick down the money to mod the 7 because for alot less money a stock m1k will dominate the modded sled.

I have only about 150 on mine but it's all mountain riding, unload and go vertical ride all day and put on 30-40 miles of great powder riding.
It is the best sled I have ever owned, thunderolls said it perfectly.
You can boondock, carve, go vertical it is great.
I started the year on a M8, but I'm a 1000 guy so I bought the 1000 and am very happy.
She's not dialed in yet but am very pleased with her potential

All I can say that the M1000 ROCKS here in COLORADO theres not a sled that will run with it just a few little modes and you better hang on cant wait to grt the noss on!!!! if your steering is tough you might try to lower the front of your track it helps a lot. its got a cut out you just half to drill a new hole in the tunnel about one inch
