I've been sledding for about 12 years or so. It's one the only things that really make me love snow and winter.
I've been renting for 12 years. Last year was my first accident. Just a small fender bender, but $800 out of my pocket.
So this is the year I'm going to lay down some CASH. I've never ridden an Arctic Cat. Mainly Ski-Doos and Yamaha. One time with a Polaris...not so good, but hence it was rental...so really can't judge.
I am looking at a 2009 Arctic Cat Z1 Turbo SNO PRO. Pretty decked out. 4K miles on it.
I would like some comments on this if at all possible.
Questions:
1. How was the engine performance and reliability of this year?
2. Can anyone point me to a list of things that I need to look for when buying a used sled?

Also, if this is not the right forum...please direct me to the correct forum.

I appreciate the comments.

Thanks.
Just Giver!

If you want a better ride and a turbo try and pick up 2017 or newer 9000 model. A 2014 or newer 7000 non turbo model is also a great sled. The Pro Criss Chassis will be leaps and bounds better than the 2009 model.
