Got a Kawasaki 340 free air out of an early/mid 70's jag. Wondering if anyone knows baseline settings or what to adjust as the motor idles when cold, but dies once warmed up. Also has a bog anything over 3/4 throttle. Looking for any tips or insight, thanks.

I have the original 1975 Jag 340 (Kawasaki) that I purchased but not really ridden. It has a Mikuni on it. Which carb are you dealing with?

No problem, got the air fuel screw out about one turn, the idle speed we started about one and a half out. Idles a little high but everything else is good.
