I just took my carbs off my 93 T-cat for a inspection & found it has 450 main jets. My elevation is 1653 feet & ride primaraly around 0 to +20f, I have K&N filters & was wondering what jets I should run & are all three mains the same or is the center richer? Also with the K&N's do I need to move the clip on the jet needle or is stock location ok? The main jet chart sugjests 440's but should I stay with the 450's because of the K&N's? I just got the sled, rode it once & Im rebuilding the primary right now, it ran ok but the idle was way to low less then 1000rpm boged a bit off idle (maybe cause its to low?)& the cluch didn't ingauge till 4500rpm there was a yellow sping in it, Im going all stock so I have a good starting pont.
I hope someone has some pointers for me this time I dunno

I was running on my 900 with stock 38s and gutted airbox.... 430 mains, 35 pilots, Q0 nozzles, needle clip on #3... do a WOT check and see what your plugs look like...
