5000rpm give or take, but yours could be different. That setup sounds good for a 600 cc machine, but you will only know through testing. I would ask some p/s 600 experts on here as I am not too familiar with that sled.

 

yea your right. are those 580 pretty good machines? i was gonna buy one at one point but i went with a newer model. have you beat any 583 ski-doo's with it

 

i couldn't imagine having anything smaller than a 700... but that's just me.

 

In my 98 zr 600 efi I am running a yellow/white primary, 51.5g weights, 57/50helix, and a epi red spring which is very similar to the arctic cat red/white. I think you are off to a good start.

 

whats your engagment with the 51.5g weights and the yellow/white, oh and are those polaris weights?
it will prolly be good with 57/50 and the red/white, then from ther it'll hopfuly just be fine tuning like turning the spring up or down a notch!

 

I have a 1999 zr 600 EFI and I'm running 55/53 helix,with stock cat yellow secondary, Erlandson almond primary spring with Polaris 10MB weights...It seems to work well for me...

 

oh yea thats like 165/280 right the spring i mean. how heavy are these 10MB weights?

 

I am not sure on the exact engagement but I think its around 4400. Its comes in pretty soft which is how I wanted it. I am not sure if they are poo weights I got them off ebay, there is no notch on mine. There is an arctic cat part number for notched 51.5 wieghts though its 0746-534
