Is it safe to spray lubericant in the choke plunger area... I am doing wat I was told to do before but I figured if the choke was stuck open I can spray some lube straight down there. I have the right stuff for it, but not sure if its gonna cause a fire or something.

It should be ok as long as you let it evaporate a little before you try to start it. You are better off spraying something like carb cleaner to try and loosen your choke plungers. If they're sticking it's because there is gunk in there (buildup from old fuel) that needs to be removed. Once you get them clean they should slide like they were meant to.
