Have a 2014 mud pro 700 and have a HMF performance slip on that I am able to have to put on , wondering if a tuner is needed to do so ? Thanks for the replies !

yes, otherwise it'll run lean and pop/backfire. the stock ecu doesnt have enough range to compensate on its own.

The 2014 has a closed loop efi system unlike the older machines. That means you have an O2 sensor in the pipe.
Now will this give the system enough headroom to adjust? Talk to the pipe manufacturer

Basically if it doesn't need to be reprogrammed, all it adds is unwanted noise.
